Waypoints

The end of the semester is so close I can taste it and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. All that’s left to do is finish my assessments and hand them in. I have three to complete, and most of yesterday I spent churning out one of them.

University was always going to be tough, but pressure seems like an excellent catalyst. I’ve found that Journalism is by far the most stressful subject one can do if they aren’t naturally drawn to being a people person, and even more stressful once you realise that the person you would like to speak to is never going to call you back. But that’s okay. Persistence pays off and you’ll find someone else willing to talk.

After Monday morning next week, I’ll be free to write freely again. At least until next semester starts, but with hope and planning even through the semester too.
