Getting It Done

I did it. I punched out a 1500 word essay and I feel better now that I’m done with this subject. Stress levels have gone down, I’m feeling relaxed and I have some free time to look forward to.

I’ve now got two or three weeks to get my energy back before diving into the Autumn semester, and first stop on the to-do list is getting my passport renewed. I’m going to Europe in June and it looks like it’s going to be a really fun trip. I’ve never been there before and I’m keen to immerse myself in some rich history, culture and food.

This also means that I have time to write and that in itself is a relief. I could begin to feel my writing muscles atrophy and the furnace going cold. I think I’ll set aside a few minutes for a new project tomorrow. And I might actually get around to finishing Oathbringer.
